About Me

Who are you?
I’ll avoid the potentially existential nature of that question and just keep it simple. My name is Colin Pekruhn. I am a fantasy football veteran of 10 years who has enjoyed a fair amount of success in various leagues. I have worked for several popular fantasy football outfits, including:
- XpertSports.com (now owned by Bodog.com)
- FantasyFootballChamps.com
- FantasyFootballWhiz.com
I am currently a freelancing writer, contributing at GoAheadScore.com and DynastyLeagueFootball.com.
I am a resident of the Washington DC metro area, but am a life-long Pittsburgh Steelers fan. An extended period of my life in Massachusetts did not turn me into a New England Patriots fan (thank the football gods!)
What’s with the odd blog name?
So why call this blog “Gridiron Meanderings”? Well, the Gridiron part should be obvious; perhaps the Meanderings not so much. So many experts and bloggers focus on the tried and true basics: rankings, projections, profiles, etc. To be honest, it gets to be a little boring. There’s only so much of that one can take, albeit there are plenty of folk who pay good money for that stuff.
This blog is my little outlet for all things football, though I try and keep it fantasy focused. My goal is to respond to what I see and hear in the NFL and give you insight as to how it relates to you, the average fantasy franchise owner. Call it a more organic approach to helping you fantasy players/owners out there.
How can I contact you?
If you ever have any questions, never hesitate to send me a tweet @WalrusCP. Feel free to follow me while you’re at it. In addition to any questions about fantasy football, feel free to tweet me any suggestions for articles you’d like me to tackle. Always up for a challenge.
